Surface Preparation

Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (max. moisture content 18%)

Product is ready to use – do not thin. Shake well before use

For solid doors, thoroughly clean old microporous finishes
-
Old paints, varnishes and lacquers must be completely removed

When renovating veneered doors, always confirm with the door manufacturer that renovation is possible

Fill small cracks or holes using Osmo Wood Filler

Sand carefully: finish sanding at P120–150 for solid wood doors

Remove sanding dust thoroughly with a vacuum or soft brush

Where possible, apply the first coat to all sides before installation
Method of Application

Apply thinly and evenly using an Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller

Work along the wood grain and spread well

When using Door Oil 3033 Raw, remove excess white pigment before drying

Ensure good ventilation during drying
