Osmo Hardener for Polyx®-Oil Express is a special additive designed to significantly accelerate the drying time of Polyx®-Oil Express. When added, drying times are reduced to approximately 1–2 hours, making it ideal for high-traffic areas, commercial applications, and projects where fast turnaround is essential.
The hardener is added directly to Polyx®-Oil Express and does not alter surface preparation or application methods. Please note that adding the hardener reduces pot life to around 90 minutes, so only mix quantities that can be applied within 45 minutes. The hardener speeds up drying but does not increase the final hardness of the finish. Allow 2–3 weeks for full cure.

How to Use
Add the entire contents of the Osmo Hardener to a 2.5 L can of Polyx®-Oil Express and stir thoroughly until both components are fully mixed. Apply the product as per standard Polyx®-Oil Express guidelines.
If only part of the can is required, add 6% hardener by volume and mix in a separate container.
Please note that adding the hardener reduces the pot life to approximately 90 minutes. Only mix quantities that can be confidently applied within 45 minutes.
